Calcium silicate is a white powder. Odorless. Soluble in strong acids. Insoluble in water, alcohol, and alkali, mostly needle shaped crystals. When heated to 680-700 ℃, crystal water is removed and the crystal shape remains unchanged. Calcium silicate microcrystalline slurry is generated by a hydrothermal reaction of silica acid, quicklime, and water mixed in a certain proportion, which is filtered, washed, and dried.
Calcium silicate is formed by calcining and melting calcium carbonate and silicon dioxide at high temperatures. Due to different generation conditions, different crystal forms, and different uses. Mainly used as building materials, insulation materials, refractory materials, pigments and carriers for coatings, filter aids, candy polishing agents, gum powder dispersants, rice coating agents, suspension agents, and analytical reagents.
